Tom is an award-winning Chief Information Security Officer and recognized industry thought-leader with over 30 years of experience in designing, implementing and leading risk management programs.  A co-author of “The CISO Handbook” and alumnus of the FBI CISO Academy, Tom is a frequent presenter at healthcare and information security industry events.  Tom has held leadership roles at Sharp Healthcare, John Muir Health, Stanford Children’s Health, Deloitte, and Ernst & Young, and is currently VP, Information Security at AltaMed Health in Los Angeles.
